We hope you join us for our inaugural event! There will be DJs out on the course to keep you rockin’ and motivated, and of course, both days will end with outdoor live music! We’ll be updating this website regularly with new information, so keep checking back for updates.

Thursday Night 5K

The fun kicks off with the Summer Rocks 5K on Thursday, June 24^th at 6:30 pm sharp!Just as the running starts, so will the music, as the Front Fenders will be rocking from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. The race starts and ends at the Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights at Sheyenne.

Start line location: 3150 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078

Packet pickup will be held on Thursday, June 24^th from 3:00 – 6:30 pm.

The 10K

The Summer Rocks 10K will take place on Saturday, June 26^th and starts at 8:30 am. The race will start and end at the Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights at Sheyenne.

The Half Marathon

The Summer Rocks Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 26^th and starts at 7:30 am. The race will start and end at the Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights at Sheyenne.

Aid Stations

We’ve got you covered for Aid Stations at the Summer Rocks Run with water and Powerade waiting for you at various points along each course!

5K: Mile 1.5
10K: Mile 3.1
Half Marathon: Mile 3.1, 6, 9 & 11

Of course, there will be water at the finish line inside The Lights, and don’t forget about the Sam Adams Summer Ale Beer for those 21 and older!

Concerts

Thursday Night Concert

After cruising through the 5K course, it’s time to celebrate with a free live concert for all 5K participants!

We are so pumped to announce that the Front Fenders will be rockin’ with you throughout the evening, with music starting at 6:30PM when the gun goes off at at the Essentia Health Plaza at the Lights on Sheyenne in West Fargo, ND until 9:00 pm. There will also be tickets for sale for friends and family, but they will be limited. Act fast!

More details about Thursday’s concert will be announced as we get closer to race day, so check back here for updates!

Saturday Concert

After you rock your half marathon or 10K, it’s time to kick back and relax with a free live concert to celebrate your success. You’ve earned it!

FrostFire will be rocking from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at at the Essentia Health Plaza at the Lights on Sheyenne in West Fargo, ND, and all half & 10K participants have free access to the post-race music and fun. Don’t forget to check out Bar Down for early morning food and drink specials!

Travel & Parking

All event activities will be held at the Essentia Health Plaza at the Lights on Sheyenne located at 3150 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078.

Parking is free at The Lights! A site map with parking details is coming soon.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be held in a building located in the south end of the Essentia Health Plaza at the Lights on Sheyenne. More detailed information is coming soon.

Note: There will be no packet mailing for the 2021 Summer Rocks Run. You must attend Packet Pickup to receive your race bib and swag.
